My name is Robert Elbogen, and I am the proud owner of the State Farm Agency located I earned the privilege of being a State Farm agent in April 2009. I say "earned" because a State farm Agency is not a business you can simply buy, its a business that has to be rightfully earned and requires a passion for helping others. A passion that was instilled in me by my family. I grew up in Flushing NY in a low income household. My father was a foreman in a sweater company and worked 60-70 hours a week. My mother worked part-time in a bakery and raised me and my brother. My parents taught us to work hard and always help others. They were my heroes and inspiration.

I was a Regional Manager responsible for over 300 employees before I opened my own agency. It was always my dream and passion to be an entrepreneur and to help others. Two of my employees from my agency, went on to open their own State Farm agencies and I am so proud and happy to have mentored such incredible Team Members in helping them achieve their dream of helping others. It is an honor helping my community manage the risks of everyday life and recover from the unexpected and achieve their dreams.

Since opening up my State Farm agency I really enjoy helping customers understand car insurance. Auto insurance can be confusing and I love reviewing the coverage and explaining the coverage they have and potential gaps. Even though my Agency is in Baldwin, I have customers that come to us frequently from Hempstead, Rockville Centre and throughout the NY area. Life insurance and protecting my customers and their families is something that is so important and my team and I ensure we help protect our customers
